Returns Process
At Decor Interiors, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your item, you may return it within 28 days of dispatch for a refund, exchange, or store credit, provided it is in its original, saleable condition with the original packaging. Refunds and exchanges will be processed within 10 days of receiving the returned item.
Returns & Exchanges
- Items can be returned or exchanged within 28 days of dispatch.
- The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
- Refunds, exchanges (subject to stock availability), or store credit will be processed within 10 days of return.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.
Important: From April 1, 2023, returns will only be accepted if the item is in its original packaging.
Order-In Items & Bulk Orders
- If a customer specifies an order-in item, they must be satisfied that they will keep the item.
- If multiple quantities of an item (e.g., bar stools) are ordered, it is recommended to purchase a single item first to confirm satisfaction.
- If a multiple-item order is cancelled after it has been placed, a 25% restocking fee will apply. This covers the cost of receiving the product and returning it to the supplier.
Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Clearance sale items – Not refundable, but can be returned within 30 days for store credit or exchange (subject to availability).
- Bespoke, custom-made, special order, embroidered, or personalised items.
- Paint: All paint is made to order, due to this paint can not be returned, please take care to get samples of paint before ordering.
- Wallpaper: Can not be returned, please be sure to measure the space and order exactly what you need.
- Items that are damaged, marked, soiled, or affected by odours
Important Considerations Before Returning an Item
- Claims for damages in transit: Must be reported within 7 days. Any claims reported after this period won’t be taken into consideration as we will not be able to claim from the delivery company after this period of time.
- If an item cannot be delivered due to access restrictions, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- If you are unsure about keeping your item, do not dispose of the packaging.
- Larger items (e.g., sideboards, dining tables) must be securely packed for return. Couriers may refuse collection if packaging is inadequate, and additional charges may apply.
- Cancellation after shipment with a two-person delivery service will incur a £100 return fee (e.g., for large dining tables).
- Once a discount has been applied, further claims will not be accepted.
Returning an Item
- Contact us before sending your item.
- Items are returned at your own risk & expense unless faulty.
- We recommend using an insured & tracked delivery method. We can organise a collection for you using a a selection of courier services but this will still be at your own risk & expense.
Faulty or Damaged Items
- All items undergo quality control checks before dispatch, but if you receive a faulty item, contact us immediately.
- We will offer a replacement or refund for faulty items, including reasonable return postage costs (receipt required).
- Damage claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery – claims outside this period cannot be accepted.
- Items being returned as faulty or damaged must returned in their original packaging.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
Note: Natural materials may have unique variations such as knots, grain patterns, minor cracks, or slight size differences (up to 2cm). These are not defects and are part of the product’s natural charm.
